This 2 Piece Standing Soldiers are offered to you by AFD Home. The left and right standing pair of standing terra cotta warriors come in our black earthy finish and are 42" tall. The sculptures are individually hand-cast and hand-finished in durable fiberglass and cast stone-reinforced material. The black, earthy finish is durable and offers authentic antique quality and richness. These recreations of today's famous terracotta army depict the bravest and most loyal of soldiers from the guards of Qin She Huang, the first emperor of China and creator of the Qin dynasty. It is said Qin, in order to have the same military power and protection in the afterlife, was buried with 1000's of these soldiers in 210–209 bce, who for centuries to come protected the emperor. The tomb was discovered in the 1970's by a farmer. These 41" tall, smaller-sized sculptures are suitable for outdoor or indoor use and could be displayed proudly on the floor or a tabletop. The set of two arrives individually crated and completely assembled with Chinese spears of war mounted in each warrior's raised hands.
