This Rococo-designed palatial settee is hand-carved by some of the world's finest carvers in solid mahogany, and owners can take pride in having a work of hand-made furniture art that took upwards of 30 days to complete. Special attention was given to the depth of the carving and the substantial girth of the wood. Few items for any price are made like this offering. The sofa settee is hand-carved out of solid mahogany that is then tastefully finished in our Platina finish and upholstered with an imported cream taffeta fabric. Each piece is hand-carved, one piece at a time, by some of the world's best carvers. The special mahogany wood comes from replanted forests. The selected wood has been kiln-dried. The item in its final form is stress and pressure tested prior to finishing to ensure long-lasting stability, which is, in most all climates, a Heritage Brand standard.
